Condition: Eczema •  Acute/Damp Heat
Treatment: Eliminate wind and heat and resolve dampness.
Description: Damp Heat - Rapid onset of erythma, subsequent papules that form into groups of blisters in a few days, clusters and flakes broken and effused by scratching, ulceration with local redness and severe itching sensation, red tongue with thick yellow, sticky coating, slippery rapid pulse.
Comment: Add HE4 for itching of the hand.

Point Selection:
BL40 • Wei Zhong • At the midpoint of the popliteal fossa.
Bend Middle. He Sea Point on the Bladder Channel. Command Point for the Upper and Lower Back. Earth Point on Water Meridian.
Explanation: Cools the blood, clears wind damp.

GV10 • Ling Tai • Below the spinous process of the sixth thoracic vertebra (T6).
Spirit Tower.
Explanation: Specific for Supportative infecting of skin, boils, hives, carbuncles.

GV14 • Daz Hui • Below the spinous process of the seventh cervical vertebra (C7).
Great Hammer. Meeting Point on the Governing Vessel with the six yang channels. Sea of Qi Point.
Explanation: Clears Wind Heat

LI4 • He Gu • On the dorsum of the hand, approximately at the midpoint of the second metacarpal bone, in the belly of the first interosseus dorsalis muscle.
Contraindication: Do Not Needle If Pregnancy is known or suspected
Union Valley. Yuan Source Point on the Large Intestine Channel. Command Point of the Face and Mouth.
Explanation: Clears Wind Heat

SP6 • San Yin Jiao • On the medial leg, 3 cun superior to the medial malleolus, on the posterior border of the tibia.
Contraindication: Do Not Needle If Pregnancy is known or suspected.
Three Yin Intersection. Meeting Point on the Spleen Channel with the Liver and Kidney Channels.

SP9 • Yin Ling Quan • On the medial leg, on the inferior border of the medial condyle of the tibia, in the depression between the posterior border of the tibia and gastrocnemius muscle.
Yin Mound Spring. He Sea Point on the Spleen Channel. Water Point on Earth Meridian.
